Updated: 2/14 5:30pm GTM+1

Incident: 2/14 10 am GMT1+

Fix available:

The fix is applied and rolled out. The categorization is now correct.

Symptom:

Office 365 / E-Mails can´t work at this moment. Outlook can´t connect to Server.

Error:

We found a false positive alarm on our DNS Content Filter protection. As Microsoft is currently (temporarily) forwarding their normal certificate, "outlook.office365.com" to a backup server: "outlook.ha.office365.com", this is defined as a Phishing attack.

Workaround and Protection:

Please setup a DNS Filter Thread "Allow List" with the FQDN: "outlook.ha.office365.com"

To avoid further issues with Outlook, Zyxel recommended using a WILDCARD Allow for Outlook to avoid further certificate issues like "outlook.ha2.office365.com" please configure Allow List like:

"*.office365.com" and "*.office.com"

Fix: "outlook.ha.office365.com"
Further Fix: "*office365.com" and "*office.com"
