This article will show you how to configure your VMG device to connect to the internet. If you have any problems with connecting to internet, please firmware upgrade your device.

1) Connect your router
a) to your internet through the "DSL" port on your router
b) your PC to the LAN port of the router
2) Login to your router
Once connected, you can go into http://192.168.1.1 (or what's on the back of the router - in my case http://zyxel.box).
Make sure that your PC has an IP address in the 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.254 range.
Login with the username and password on the backside of your router.
(if there is none on the backside of your router, the username is admin and password 1234)

3) Use Quick Start Wizard Setup
3.1 Wizard - Home
Click "Let's go"
If you clicked "skip" you can go back to the wizard through the "Quick Links":
Navigate to "A", in the right corner:
3.2 Wizard - Time Zone
Choose your Time Zone
3.3 Wizard - Internet
3.4 Wizard - Internet Check
Please wait and do not disconnect the router nor any cables.
You can now start using the modem
4) WAN Connection is Down
If the WAN connection is down, please firmware upgrade your device.
5) Firmware upgrade
Firmware upgrade the device by navigating to "Maintenance -> Firmware upgrade".
