We would like to inform you that you may encounter some issues with site-to-site VPN connections in both Nebula devices and standalone configurations.
Symptoms of the Problem
For Nebula VPN:
- VPN shows disconnect: You may notice that the VPN status indicates a disconnect or failed connection attempt.
For Non-Nebula VPN:
- VPN is up, but there's no traffic: The VPN tunnel may be successfully established, but you might find that no traffic is passing through, leading to connectivity issues.
Our team is actively working on a permanent solution, and a fix will be implemented shortly. In the meantime, if you are experiencing this issue, please refer to the following temporary solution steps:
Nebula Site-to-Site VPN
Re-enabling VPN
If re-enabling the VPN doesn't help and you have both interfaces selected in the Site-to-Site VPN settings, please switch the second interface to the “none” position
Standalone Site-to-Site VPN
Our team has resolved the issue with the site-to-site VPN for standalone devices, which should no longer occur in new configurations. However, if you continue to experience difficulties with your current setup, please deactivate and reactivate the VPN to resolve the issue.
Please go to the Non-Nebula VPN settings (site-wide or org-wide VPN Orchestrator)
- Disabled the Non-nebula VPN tunnels by unticking the Enable column
- Save the settings
- Re-enable the Non-nebula VPN tunnel by ticking the Enable column
- Save the settings.
