The Zyxel USG FLEX H Series firewalls are designed for seamless integration with the Nebula Control Centre (NCC), providing centralised cloud-based management and licensing. Unlike previous models such as the USG FLEX and ATP series, which utilise the MyZyxel platform for license management, the USG FLEX H Series exclusively relies on NCC for all registration and license operations.
Note: In the Zyxel USG FLEX H series devices, activation of a purchased license using a license key is only possible via the Nebula Control Center (NCC) or Zyxel Circle platforms. This is different from previous Zyxel firewall models, where licenses could be activated through the MyZyxel Portal.
Available License Packs for USG FLEX H Series
- Includes features like IP reputation filtering and SecuReporter.
- Comes with a 30-day trial of the Gold Security Pack and a 366-day Entry Defence Pack upon device registration.
- Licenses can be transferred between USG FLEX H Series devices.
- Provides comprehensive security features, including sandboxing and advanced threat protection.
- Takes priority over the Entry Defense Pack when both are active.
- Enhances the number of Access Points (APs) that can be managed by the firewall.
- Included in the Gold Security Pack and available separately.
Licenses can be purchased through the Zyxel Marketplace, authorized resellers, or directly within NCC.

Activating Purchased Licenses for USG FLEX H Series via Nebula (NNC)
To activate licenses on your USG FLEX H Series device, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Nebula Control Centre and Log in with your credentials.
- After registering the device, navigate to:
Organization-wide -> License & Inventory -> Licenses section
Add a license to your Organization:
Next, assign the newly added license to the appropriate device by navigating to the 'Devices' tab.
Activating the Bundled License During Initial Device Setup
After successfully registering your Zyxel Device, security services supported by your model will be activated automatically.
Auto-Renewal Feature
To ensure uninterrupted security services, the USG FLEX H Series supports auto-renewal for licenses:

Enable Auto-Renewal:
- In the Zyxel Marketplace, select your desired license and choose the auto-renewal option during checkout.

Manage Subscriptions:
- After purchase, you can manage your subscriptions and auto-renewal settings within the Marketplace account dashboard.
Note: Auto-renewal is currently not supported for the Entry Defence Pack.
