This tutorial will showcase how to configure a VLAN on a SBG unit!
Walkthrough Steps
- Log in to the unit by entering its IP address and the credentials for an admin account (by default, username is “admin”, password is “1234”)
- Navigate to “Network Setting > Interface Group/VLAN, click on “Add New Interface Group”, type in a name and the needed VLAN tag under “802.1q”, define the untagged (“Member” checkbox) or tagged (“Tagged” checkbox) membership for each port under the “VLAN Port Membership” table and confirm your settings by clicking “Apply”
- Navigate to Network Setting > LAN > Interface Group > Group Name and choose your previously created VLAN interface to change the automatically assigned IP configuration and its DHCP server
Congratulations! You have successfully created your VLAN interface on your SBG router!
