Unregistering a NebulaFlex AP from Nebula (NCC) will set the device to the standalone mode and use the factory default settings. This article shows how to recover the standalone settings in case you previously configured the device before registering it to Nebula.
When the Access Point management changes from standalone to the cloud mode by registering the device into Nebula Control Center, any setting that had been applied will not be carried over, and the device will be provisioned with the settings on NCC instead.
Once unregistered from NCC, you could recover the device standalone settings previously configured following the steps:
- Log in to the AP's web configurator using its IP address.
- Go to the Configuration File page:
Maintenance> File Manager> Configuration File
- Choose the file with the name "standalone-backup.conf" which was automatically generated by the AP when it was set to Cloud mode.
- Click the Apply button to load the settings previously saved.
