I have a Nebula AP with default settings. The WiFi signal can be searched in the first few minutes. However, it will be gone after a while. What can be the reason?
ZyMesh is a ZYXEL proprietary protocol that creates wireless mesh links within managed APs to expand the wireless network. The Smart-Mesh is turned on by default for Nebula APs. When the Nebula AP detects its uplink port going down, it will change to the repeater mode. So the WiFi service will be down until it finds its root AP. That's why the WiFi signal will be disappeared if using the NAP with default configurations when the uplink port is down.
