This guide will give you an overview of the new site-wide client feature from Nebula.
Site-wide Client Page
The new page combines all wired and wireless clients connected to the cloud devices in the Nebula Site.
It helps administrators to identify a client’s point of access quickly.
It will provide administrators with site-wide policies that can prohibit clients' access through any cloud device (AP, Switch, or Gateway).
Wireless Clients
- Displays wireless symbol () on status column
- NCC determines wireless clients when the client MAC address is connected to any AP of the Nebula site
Wired Clients
- Displays wired symbol () on status column
- NCC determines wired clients if client MAC address is only connected to Switch or gateway of the Nebula site
Site-wide Clients – Block Policy
AP – Block Client Policy
- Identifies clients through MAC address
- Blocked clients cannot associate with any AP in this Nebula Site
- May specify which SSID to block clients from
Switch – Block Client Policy
- Identifies clients through MAC address
- Blocked clients cannot send or receive network traffic
- Must specify which VLAN to block clients from
Gateway – Block Client Policy
- Identifies clients through IP address
