In this article, we will look at how You can import or register existing Devices from MyZyxel and newly bought Devices.
If Your Request for Circle Access has been approved, open the Circle Webpage.
You will be redirected to the MyZyxel Login page:
Login with Your Circle activated Account:
and You will be redirected to the Circle Dashboard:
As an alternative, You can also access Circle through Your MyZyxel Dashboard/Portal:
To start registering Devices, we need first to set up some Sites; go to the "Your Devices" Tab at the Lefthand Side:
Now click the "+" icon and give the new Site a Name.
In our case, we chose the Zyxel Virtual Lab, which You can explore here.
Then click on "save" and enter the new Site by clicking on it.
After You enter the Site where You want to import/register Devices, click once again on the "+" Sign.
Now click on "import Devices".
As far as Import Choices go, You can choose to import from Your own MyZyxel Account or the Account of one of Your Customers.
Here we will choose "Import devices from my myZyxel account".
After clicking on "Next", we can choose one or multiple Devices for the Import.
After we click on "Import(nr. of Devices)", we will get a small Message telling us that the import was successful.
If You want to import Devices from Your Customers Account, You can choose "Import devices from another myZyxel account".
After clicking on "Next", enter the E-Mail Address of Your Customers MyZyxel account, and the System will send an Import Request.
You should see the Pending Request in Your Request Dashboard (We will go into the different Dashboards in another Article).
On to the E-Mail Your Customer will receive from Circle.
The Customer can follow the highlighted Link and select the Device he wants to allow access to.
(Please note that Your customer DOES NOT need to have a Circle Account).
The Customer will be redirected to the MyZyxel Login Screen.
After a successful login, the Customer can choose which Device(s) he wants to grant You access to.
To do so, select the Devices and follow the Steps after clicking on "Next(nr. of Devices)".
Please also note that the Customer can deny the request as well.
This Action will be shown in Your Dashboard as well.
If Your Device(s) have not been claimed Yet by any MyZyxel Accounts, You can choose to register it.
Enter the Device Details
- Serial number
- Device Name
and click on "Add Device" (You can enter Multiple Devices) [The entered Details in this Screenshot are NOT real].
When You're done, click on "Register(Nr of Devices)".
Please note that the Device(s) will be registered to Your MyZyxel/Circle Account and listed under the Site You chose.
Now You can see all registered Devices on Your Dashboard.
