This article will see how to register any Nebula-enabled Access Point or Switch to the NCC (Nebula Control Center). QR Code and how to protect your devices from being overwritten by a QR Code scan.

1) Register a Device Manually
1.1 Create an Organization & Site
Right after you create a new Organisation and Site, you can add all Nebula devices.
After, follow the wizard, and you're done.
1.2 Register your Device with MAC-Address & Serial Number
Organisation-Wide > License & Inventory
Add the Device with MAC Address and Serial number and click on finish.
Your device's MAC-address & Serial Number are found under the device under "MAC-address & S/N" in the following format (also register in the same format):
S/N: S270L5400005
MAC-Address: AA:BB:CC:11:22:33
After choosing the Site, you want to add the AP to, set up the SSID.

2) Register a Device via QR Code
2.1 Scanning the QR Code
2.1.1 Download the Application
Download & Install the Nebula App to your mobile phone via Google Play or App Store.
2.1.2 Open the Application and setup your first Organization
Create your first "Site Name". This will be both your Organization Name and Site Name. Then click "Create".
Scan your device with the QR Code
Start your trial mode on the organization if you'd like now
Your first site created!
3) Protect your Device from being Overwritten
If you don't want the QR Code to be overwritten, you can prevent other users to take ownership of this organization's device(s) from the Nebula App.
Navigate to Organization-Wide -> Configure -> Settings and enable the "Override device ownership" function:
