This article describes how to configure two factor authentication for the admin login via Email-to-SMS function.
The Email-to-SMS function sends a text message to the client. The message is initiated by USG to SMS provider which then forwards it to the client. This function ensures the client receives the SMS in case it does not have internet access.

SETUP:
1.Subscribe Email to SMS account
Sign-up an account of Email to SMS service and purchase credit
Check if the Email-to-SMS provider is available in your country and choose the corresponding SMS provider.
Example: SMSGlobal (https://www.smsglobal.com/)
After Sing-In to SMSGlobal, navigate to setup and allow the Email-Address on SMSGlobal.
Go to API & Integrations > Email Settings.
There enter the Email-Address which communicates with SMSGlobal.
Go to Configuration > System > Notification > SMS
Select “SMS Provider” as Email to SMS Provider
Enter SMS Provider Email server domain name and configure the sender’s mail address in “Mail From”
2.Setup notification server
Go to CONFIGURATION > System > Notification > Mail Server
Enter your SMTP server information.
- Mail server
- Mail server ports
- Mail From
- SMTP Authentication
3.Setup user account
Go to Configuration > Object > User/Group > User
Click Add button to create an user, the user type as admin.
Enter the phone number aswell.
4.Setup Two-Factor Authentication for admin on your device
Go to Configuration > Object > Auth. Method > Two-Factor Authentication > Admin Access
Enable the function and add the admin user which you created in step3 to the rule.
Now you can select what services the 2 Factor authentication needs.
Enable SMS function to send verification code by SMS.
