Hotspot Feature - Printing Guest WiFi Access on an Office Printer

This article will show how to create a guest-manager account and how to configure the possibility for that user to print access to Guest WiFi. You can use your own printer and generate a, for example, 1 hour or 1 week WiFi ticket/bill to the guests using the WiFi.

Introduction

With ZyXEL's Hotspot Management, venue owners can manage all the network hotspots from one place. ZyXEL's Hotspot Management features Billing System, Walled Garden, Multiple Authentications, Third-party Social Login and User Agreement to provide businesses with a unified solution containing all needed functionalities. For information, to use the Hotspot feature, you must purchase and activate the "Hotspot Management Subscription Service" license.

Receipt printing is possible not only with the help of specialized printers but also with conventional office printing systems.

1. First, create a user with the user type "guest-manager". 


2. Second, navigate to the USG login portal and type the username.

3. As soon as you connect using guest-manager, you will immediately be taken to the "Account generation" page, where you can find the setting page where you can define the profile on the printer and select the desired quantity.

2. Select the desired number of profiles, and the amount and time are summed up (maximum 10). 
3. Select the desired number of tickets (maximum 50)

4. Click "Generate." 



4. You can print the bill via your business printer.
You can use any printer on your network and select the desired print settings, such as bills per page, layout, and more, and all standard printer features are supported.
