WBE660S WIFI7 [Access Point] - Peculiarities of Smart Mash and ZyMesh operation

Smart Mesh and ZyMesh represent two distinct mesh technologies within our networking infrastructure. ZyMesh is specifically designed for access points (APs) under the management of the AP controller, ensuring seamless integration and centralized control. On the other hand, SmartMesh is tailored for APs managed through Nebula, our cloud-based networking platform. This delineation allows for optimized performance and scalability within their respective management frameworks.

WBE660S is equipped to support Smart Mesh functionality when managed through Nebula, our cloud-based networking platform. Additionally, in standard mode, the device offers support for Wireless Distribution System (WDS), enabling seamless interconnection with other compatible network devices for extended coverage and enhanced network flexibility.

Note: WBE660S does not support the Zymesh function! It should also be noted that this applies to all new access points including WBE130BE and later versions.
