How to re-register or delete/remove a USG FLEX H-Series device from the Nebula Cloud platform

Zyxel USG FLEX H-Series firewalls (such as USG FLEX 50H, 100H, 500H, and 700H) are designed for centralized management through the Nebula Cloud platform. If your device was added to the wrong organization or you want to transfer it to another owner, you have the following options:

  • Remove the device from your organization and then register it with a new organization — this can only be done using the QR code on the device label for registration.

  • Register the device with a new organization directly using the QR code, which will automatically remove it from the old organization.

  • Transfer the device from one organization to another — available only if you are the owner of both organizations.

  • Contact Zyxel Technical Support — use this option only if you experience issues during registration and the troubleshooting steps above do not resolve the problem.

Remove the device from your organization

  • Log in to your Nebula account (https://nebula.zyxel.com).

  • Go to Organization > Configure > License & Inventory.

  • Locate the device in the list.

  • Click Remove from organization.

  • Confirm the removal. The device will be unlinked from the current organization.

  • Log in with the new account and register the device again via Nebula Control Center using the QR code sticker (How to register Firewall in Nebula via QR code ?).

Register the device using the QR code

You can register your device under another site or organization using the QR code — there’s no need to manually remove it from the previous organization.

If you encounter an error message:

Transfer the device between two organizations or between two sites within the same organization

Notes:

  • The Change organization function is only available if you are the owner of both organizations, meaning both organizations must be registered under the same account. 

  • The Change site assignment function works only within the same organization and allows you to move a device between sites inside that organization.

  1. Log in to Nebula Control Center.

  2. Navigate to Organization > Configure > License & Inventory.

  3. Find the device and select Change Site Assignment.

  4. Choose the target site/organization and confirm.
