When encountering issues after a firmware update, you might want to start from the second partition, where you might have upload the previously running firmware onto.
Use these simple commands after logging in via SSH or console connection:
Router> configure terminal
Router(config)# set firmware boot number 1|2
After setting the number, the device will immediately reboot with the firmware stored in the specified slot.
