Zyxel Portal [MyZyxel] - Incorrect username or password and password reset does not work

If you are unable to log in with your username and password and the password recovery feature does not work, it is most likely due to the problems described in this article.

If you encounter a problem when logging in to the portal and see the message "Invalid email address or password. Please make sure account had been activated and enter the correct data to Sign in." and when trying to reset your password you see the message "We have sent an email to "YOUR EMAIL". Please check your email inbox, and follow the instructions in the email to reset your password." But nothing comes to the mailbox.

As you have already noticed, our portal supports several authentication options including Apple or Google account authentication.  Please use Google or Apple Account, whichever you have used before.

Note:

Note: If you initially registered your account using a standard email registration, but later clicked on the "Continue with Google" button and completed the migration process from the standard authentication method to a Google account (as shown in the photo below), you should use this Google authentication method for future logins.

Another possible problem occurs if you created your account and specified "xxx/1234" or something similar in the first name, last name, or address fields during registration. The server may not process the request correctly due to missing or incorrect information.

In this case, you need to re-register using a different email address or contact technical support for assistance, or in case you were using Google email you can use a workaround and fix this issue yourself by changing the authentication type to Google Account. Please note that in the future you will have to use Google Account to log in.

After switching the authorization method to Google account, you will be able to enter your personal cabinet and change the data.

Now you can use your account without contacting technical support because you solved the problem yourself! That's the way to do it!
