Troubleshooting Guide

Problem: The LTE Device does not turn on (None of the LEDs are on).

  • Check the Power Adaptor: Ensure you are using the power adaptor included with the LTE Device.
  • Verify Power Connection: Confirm that the power adaptor is securely connected to the LTE Device and plugged into a functioning power outlet. Ensure that the power source is turned on.
  • Reconnect Power: Disconnect and then reconnect the power adaptor to the LTE Device.
  • Contact Vendor: If the problem persists, contact us for further assistance.

Problem: One of the LEDs is not behaving as expected.

  • Understand Normal LED Behavior: Review the expected behaviour of the LEDs as outlined in the device manual.
  • Check Hardware Connections: Ensure all hardware connections are secure. Refer to the Quick Start Guide for proper setup.
  • Inspect Cables: Check all cables for any visible damage. Replace any damaged cables.
  • Reconnect Power: Disconnect and reconnect the power adaptor to the LTE Device.
  • Contact Vendor: If the issue continues, contact the vendor for support.

Problem: The Battery LED is alternating between green and amber.

  • Wrong Battery Type: Ensure you are using the correct type of battery for the LTE Device.
  • Inspect the Battery: Check the battery for any signs of damage. If damaged, contact the vendor to replace the battery.
  • Reinsert Battery: If the battery was removed while charging, reinstall it to continue charging. Removing the battery during charging may shorten its lifespan.
  • Check Battery Temperature: If the battery is too hot or too cold, remove it and allow it to cool or warm up. Ensure the device is not in an enclosed or poorly ventilated space.

Problem: I forgot the password.

  • Factory Reset: Use the RESET button at the back of the device to reload the factory-default configuration. This will reset the password to “1234” and the IP address to “192.168.1.1”.
  • Ensure Power LED is On: Before performing a reset, make sure the POWER LED is on.
  • Reset Procedure: Press the RESET button for five seconds to restore factory settings, or for two seconds to simply restart the device.

Problem: I cannot see or access the Login screen in the Web Configurator.

  • Browser Settings: Ensure that your browser allows pop-ups and has JavaScript enabled.
