1. What are the features unlocked?
The license will unlock two main features which are per default not available:
- RIPng
- OSPFv3
Please note that OSPF, RIPv1 and RIPv2 are already available without a license. The big difference is that RIPng and OSPFv3 are for IPv6. So in case you are planning an IPv6 network and require your switch to route IPv6, this license is a must.

After a successful registration you will see the Status "Licensed" and Type""Standard" under Management > Service Register:
