Mobile Router into Nebula - Hardware and Software Identification (LTE3301-Plus / NR5101 / NR7101)

With this, we want to show you how you can determine if you own a Nebula Mobile (LTE/5G) Router or a non-Nebula Mobile (LTE/5G) Router and if it can be used for the Nebula Cloud integration.

Each mobile router model comes with two possible variants:​

Nebula Hardware Variant – can add hardware to NCC organization.

How to recognize the Nebula hardware variant?​

Generic Hardware Variant – cannot add hardware to NCC organization

If you don't have the Indicators mentioned above on the Box / Hardware, the device is not supported to integrate into the Nebula Cloud.

Software Variant

Each mobile router model can upgrade to its generic or nebula firmware version.​

There is no possibility to update a non-Nebula device to a Nebula device via firmware update.

Nebula Software Variant – supports NCC discovery.
