Zyxel Warranty [EOS/EOS] End of Life (EOL/EoL) Concepts

Zyxel periodically provides end-of-life information and migration recommendations to our valued customers.
For our products that have reached end-of-life more than 3 years ago, please refer to the archived EOL product table here.

  • End of Development

From this date forward, no new features or enhancements will be developed. Our focus will be only addressed in critical issues that significantly impact business operations or system stability, ensuring essential system functionality is maintained.

  • End of Vulnerability Support

Prior to this date, critical security vulnerabilities that could significantly impact system security would be addressed. Maintenance builds will be released for severe security issues requiring immediate attention.

  • End of Life*

This marks the final stage of the product lifecycle. From this date forward, all support services for hardware and firmware will cease, including signature releases. No further updates, patches, or technical assistance will be available. We recommend customers plan their migration to newer supported products well before reaching this milestone.

*RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) policies may vary by region. Please check with your local Zyxel representative for specific RMA policy details and coverage in your area by visiting here.

  • License End of Registration

From this date forward, customers will no longer be able to register or activate licenses on myZyxel or Nebula platforms. It's important to complete all license registrations and activations before this deadline to ensure uninterrupted service.

  • End of Life

This represents the complete end of all services and support. From this date forward, firmware support will be discontinued, and signature renewal services will cease. We recommend transitioning to newer solutions before reaching this milestone to maintain optimal security and performance.

  • Check the Warranty of the device here, this applies to devices that have a "Lifetime Warranty"

Products and Warranties

The Limited Lifetime Warranty is valid until an End of Life (EOL) announcement is made on the local Zyxel website. 

After EOL, business products with a limited lifetime warranty will be supported by Zyxel for five years.

EOL - this only affects the device's warranty. 
EOS - These devices are not applicable. All models not on the EOS list are supported and updated.
