This article will show how to configure DX3301-T0 or EX3300-T0 via the Web GUI and how to connect another mesh-router (WX3100-T0 as Root and Extender). This article will further explain how to use the Wizard to install your device, change password to WiFi, how to troubleshoot DX3301-T0/EX3300-T0, if the device is not powering on, what the LED lights indicate, how to reset your device, change to bridge mode and how to configure WiFi settings, upgrade firmware.

1) Access the Device and Initial Setup
1.1 Start the device
Start the router and wait for the device to light up green on it's LEDs.
1.2 Connect to the device - via WiFi or cable
Login to the device using the WiFi or cable. Please check this article on how to login to your device:
Accessing your router via Web GUI
1.3 Connect your internet cable to the WAN port
Make sure the WAN port of the router is directly connected to the internet (or via modem or router with Internet access). Your router will check the status of your Internet connection the first time you log in.
1.4 Launch your Web Browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge)
Open your web browser and enter http://192.168.1.1 as the website address while connected to the router's WiFi. If you're having problems, check this article.
Please login using the username "admin" and the password from the back of your router.
1.5 Quick Start Wizard
1.5.1 Wizard - Home
This is the start screen, when you first login to the router. Be sure to be connected to the router. Click on "Let's go" to continue.
1.5.2 Wizard - Time Zone
If you have internet connected to the router, this time zone should be selected automatically to the correct Time Zone. And if not, you need to select the right time zone manually in the drop-down menu.
1.5.3 Wizard - Internet
Make sure that you have connected the internet cable to the WAN port of your router. Then click "Next".
The following screen shows if you are connected to the Internet. Click Next to go to the next step in the
wizard. If you're not connected successfully click here.
1.5.4 Wizard - WiFi
Here you can set your WiFi (SSID) Name and password to your device using a strong password (meaning that you use a strong password with 1 upper and lower-case letter, 1 number and one special sign with a password length of at least 12 characters). Click done when you have configured this.

This screen shows after the Wizard was completed.
2) Configure a Mesh Router (WX3301)
2.1 Connect the Root Router and Extender Router
Place the WX3100 (Extender) and plug in the power adapter (ONLY!) and turn on the extender router with the power button shown below. Then wait 2 minutes for the device to start up.
2.2 After POWER LED turns steady green, connect Ethernet Cable
When it has successfully started up (the POWER LED turns steady green), you can connect an Ethernet cable from the Root Router to the Extender Router.
2.3 Connect Ethernet Cable & Wait for LINK LED light to turn steady green
Then connect a Ethernet cable to the WX3100's LAN port and wait until the LINK LED turns steady green
2.4 Unplug Extender Router and put it where you want to have it
Unplug your router (both ethernet and power) and put it where you want and put in the power cable (ONLY!). The router will now mesh wirelessly to the extender router.
2) Troubleshoot your Router
2.1 Check your wan port
If the Multy is not connected to internet and you get the message "Please check your wan port is connected. If not, please connect it and retry again."
2.2 The device is not powering on
Please check your power cable thoroughly and otherwise, make sure that you have the ON/OFF Switch pressed in.
2.3 Check your LED lights
The LED lights is a good indicator of what is wrong with your device, if you're experiencing any problems. Please look at the table at LED lights (section 2.3.1) to see what the device is trying to communicate.
2.3.1 LED Light Indication
Look at the table below to see what the LED lights indicates:

2.4 Reset the device
If you have any device that cannot be solved using any other tip in this article, it's highly recommended you reset your device(s) to factory settings and start all over again. This is usually the solution to 90% of the problems. Reset the device by holding the RESET button for 15 seconds while the device is turned on.
3) Configure your Router (after installation)
3.1 Configure Bridge mode
If you're seeing this screen after you've logged in, it means that you're having standard mode and not bridge mode.
3.1.1 Changing to Bridge mode
Navigate to Settings (up at the left side of the screen) -> Network Setting -> Braodband -> and click "Edit" on the WAN connection that you want to change. Then change the "Mode" from Routing to Bridge and hit "Apply" to change your mode from Standard mode to Bridge mode.
Wait for the device to save your configuration and look at the LED lights to see when it's ready again
3.2 Configure your WiFi Settings
To configure your WiFi settings please navigate to Settings (up at the left side of the screen) -> WiFi and Main WiFi.
Best practice here is to choose
- the WPA2-PSK with a strong password (meaning that you use a strong password with 1 upper and lower-case letter, 1 number and one special sign with a password length of at least 12 characters)
- Use 2.4 Channel Bandwidth of 40 (use 20 [MHz] Bandwidth on 2,4G [GHz] if you're experiencing WiFi issues, and 40 [MHz] bandwidth on 5G [GHz])
3.3 Firmware Upgrade
If you're having any problems or bugs, it could be a good idea to firmware upgrade your device.

Extract the zipped file you have downloaded with the built-in extractor of your operative system (or Winzip, 7-zip)
c) Login to the Web GUI of the router using this guide: Accessing your router via Web GUI
Go to Maintenance -> Firmware upgrade
Then click on Browse... and choose the .bin file you have extracted
