This article offers a detailed guide for configuring DX3301-T0 and EX3300-T0 devices via the Web GUI, including setting up and managing a WX3100-T0 mesh router in root and extender modes. It covers initial device setup, Wi-Fi password changes, and troubleshooting common issues such as power failures, LED indicator meanings, device resets, bridge mode switching, Wi-Fi settings, and firmware upgrades. Key steps include using the setup wizard for installation, connecting to the device, and configuring mesh routers and Multy M1 systems.
- Check this video on how to configure your Multy M1 via the mobile application
Device Access and Initial Setup
- Start the router and wait for the device to light up green on its LEDs.
- Login to the device using the WiFi or cable. Please check this article on how to log in to your device: Accessing your router via Web GUI
- Make sure the WAN port of the router is directly connected to the internet (or via modem or router with Internet access). Your router will check the status of your Internet connection the first time you log in.
- Launch your Web Browser and enter http://192.168.1.1 as the website address while connected to the router's WiFi. If you're having problems, check this article.
- Please log in using the username "admin" and the password from the back of your router.
Quick Start Wizard
- This is the start screen when you first log in to the router. Be sure to be connected to the router. Click on "Let's go" to continue.
- If you have internet connected to the router, this time zone should be selected automatically to the correct Time Zone. If not, you need to select the right time zone manually in the drop-down menu.
- Make sure that you have connected the internet cable to the WAN port of your router. Then click "Next".
- The following screen shows if you are connected to the Internet. Click Next to go to the next step in the wizard. If you're not connected successfully go to the Troubleshoot section of this article.
- Here you can set your WiFi (SSID) Name and password to your device using a strong password (meaning that you use a strong password with 1 upper and lower-case letter, 1 number, and one special sign with a password length of at least 12 characters).
- Click Done when you have configured this.
- This last screen shows after the Wizard is completed.

Configure a Mesh Router (WX3301)
- Connect the Root Router and Extender Router
Place the WX3100 (Extender) plug in the power adapter (ONLY!) and turn on the extender router with the power button shown below. Then wait 2 minutes for the device to start up.
- After POWER LED turns steady green, connect the Ethernet Cable
When it has successfully started up (the POWER LED turns steady green), you can connect an Ethernet cable from the Root Router to the Extender Router.
-
Connect the Ethernet Cable & Wait for the LINK LED light to turn steady green
Then connect an Ethernet cable to the WX3100's LAN port and wait until the LINK LED turns steady green
- Unplug the Extender Router and put it where you want to have it
Unplug your router (both ethernet and power) and put it where you want and put in the power cable (ONLY!). The router will now mesh wirelessly to the extender router.
Troubleshoot your DX3301/EX3300
- Check your wan port
If the Multy is not connected to the internet and you get the message "Please check your wan port is connected. If not, please connect it and retry again."
- Check powering on
Please check your power cable thoroughly and otherwise, make sure that you have the ON/OFF Switch pressed in.
