Zyxel Multy [Perental Control] - Where can I find connected devices and set up parental controls on my Multy device?

This guide will show you how to use Parental Controls in your Multy network. Parental control is used to manage local clients' surfing behavior. Time schedules for clients can also be set.

To find the IP address assigned to a device connected to your Multy, follow these steps:

  • Open the Multy App.
  • Navigate to the "Parental Control" section.
  • Here, you'll see a list of all currently connected devices, displayed in blue, along with detailed information such as IP Address, MAC Address, and Network Name.
  • Devices that were previously connected but are now disconnected will appear in black.

When you choose the blue device you can see that it is currently connected to 5G Wifi and you can see the IP/MAC address and the connection time:

On the Black devices, you find devices that were connected before, The IP/Mac Address will be visible and you can as well choose now to remove it or if this device will just get internet access for a specific time.

Now tap on the device you want to add to a Parental Control rule, and you will be forwarded to the settings for this specific device:

You can now decide to do the following:

  • You can reserve the IP address for this device
  • You can block the device in general so it can't connect to the internet at all
  • You can add a schedule for this device by tapping on "Join Profile"
